Stuart Weitzman Heels :: $69 (MSRP $395) :: size 8.5
I love me some Stuart Weitzman shoes! Don’t we all, though? These fabulous black 4 inch heel sandals are made of genuine leather with a wood heel. They are a size 8.5 and appear to be true to size. The box is not included to save on cost. Aren’t you so happy you can add Stuart Weitzman to your shoe wardrobe?!
Manolo Blahnik :: $99 (MSRP $715) :: size EUR 36 US 6
Are you dying for a pair of Manolos?! If you are a size 6 then today is your LUCKY DAY! These gorgeous bronze slides have a 2 inch heel and a lovely bead embellishment. They measure approximately 9 inches from tip to tip. Check out another pair of beaded Manolo slides available right now at Neiman Marcus – for $745! These pretty leather shoes are hand made in Italy. SO excited to have these posted!!
Goldenbleu Clutch :: $37 (MSRP $395)
LOOOOVE this one. First of all: shiny! Second of all: fringe! This extremely fabulous pinktone 100% leather clutch has a zipper closure and luxurious suede lining inside. It has the Goldenbleu hardware inside on the zipper pocket. The bag measures approximately 9.5 inches wide and 6.5 inches high. It comes with a Goldenbleu dust bag and care card. It is a great conversation starter and perfect for a night out on the town.
Badgley Mischka Crossbody :: $69 (MSRP $170)
I actually have the larger version of this bag! And it’s totally awesome. It matches EVERYTHING, it’s classy and stylish – I love it. This is a genuine leather bag with a pleated design and zipper closure. The hardware is goldtone and the strap is removable, should you ever want to use it as a clutch. The bag comes with the Badgley Mischka nameplate. It measures approximately 10 inches across and 6 inches high.
William Rast Sadie Straight Leg :: $46 (MSRP $220) :: size 25
You guys have seen me in my own Rast jeans, I don’t know, a hundred times? I have been asked about them many times and decided to pick up a pair if I ever spotted them for a good price, because these things are expensive as heck when you pay retail.
I love this pair: these are 100% cotton, white, ripped/distressed with a straight leg. If I didn’t already own an almost identical pair I would just keep them! Because these are slim through the upper half, you can definitely wear them under knee-high boots for a skinny jean effect. Pair it with a chunky sweater or turtleneck for the winter (see my notes on white jeans in winter here) and then transition them right into your spring line-up.
On the fit: William Rast stretches out. These are appropriate for anyone who typically wears a size 0, 2 or extra small.
Inseam: 33"
Rise: 7"
Knee: 14"

Shown with: Marc by Marc Jacobs Top ($35), layered necklace, Chinese Laundry Hurricane Pumps, Michael Kors MK5088 watch
Vertigo Paris Tuxedo Pleat Blouse :: $24 (MSRP $160) :: size medium
I’m crazy about Vertigo Paris in general. This is a very well-made 100% cotton top with the fabulous detailing you tend to find on pricier clothing. It features a hidden-button front (which I’m sure the bustier girls can really appreciate) and tuxedo pleating down the middle. You will then find small origami bursts lining the tuxedo pleat – such a pretty detail! There is a very understated ruffle on the sleeveline, just enough to add interest. The neck can be worn open or buttoned up. Kudos to Vertigo; this is a very well-designed top.
On the fit: this is accurately sized at a medium. It fits like a 6/8.
Shown with: Tahari ‘Theora’ Pants, Michael Kors MK5091 watch, Chinese Laundry Hurricane Pumps
Paige Premium Denim Benedict Canyon Jeans :: $48 (MSRP $189) :: size 27 (size 2)
Paige really does create a flipping fantastic pair of jeans! I am super picky about my own and I can say with confidence that I love these (I wouldn’t post them if I didn’t). This is a light Santa Cruz wash with a bit of distressing. They are incredibly soft, like most Paige denim and have the perfect fit that she is so famous for. This is a classic rise, classic fit pair of jeans. I have had A LOT of request for Paige so grab them while you can because I very rarely find this brand discounted.
On the fit: If you have a pair of Paige jeans, you know your size. For those that don’t: they tend to run a touch small but do stretch out. This pair here is appropriate for someone who typically wears a size 2.
Inseam: 34"
Rise: 9.5"
Knee: 16"
Leg Opening: 19"
Shown with: American Apparel V-Neck in Black ($8, MSRP $19), layered necklace, Chinese Laundry Hurricane Pumps, Michael Kors MK5088 watch
Elie Tahari Silk Camden Dress :: $39 (MSRP $398) :: size medium
GRRRRR!!!!! I have been looking for this dress in a size small at a price I can afford for SIX WEEKS, to no avail. I sold another one in a medium (in a slightly different pattern) at that time and have been dreaming about it ever since. The bodice is absolute perfection – there is a wrap belt that winds around your waist so you have the effect of a perfect, tailored fit. Like the dress was made for no one but you. The pretty floral pattern is set against a navy background. The dress is sold out on Bluefly (who was selling it for close to $200). Congrats to whoever gets it – you will be so happy!
On the fit: true to size as a medium.
Tahari ‘Theora’ Pants :: $35 (MSRP $228) :: size 2-4
Okay, I love white pants! I admit it. And I love them even more when they are this inexpensive. They are so classic, chic, feminine, versatile – all the good things! And this pair by Tahari is SHARP -- perfect for work or a weekend outing with your girlfriends. No one is going to think you are wearing a $35 pair of pants when you wear these, that is for sure. 50% linen, 41% viscose , 3% elastane.
Shown with: Vertigo Paris Tuxedo Pleat Blouse ($24, MSRP $160), Chinese Laundry Hurricane Pumps, Tiffany & C, Monogram Necklace, Michael Kors MK5073 watch

Elliott Lucca Francesca Bag :: $108 (MSRP $328)
What a great everyday bag! This is a gorgeous chocolate leather Elliott Lucca Francesca Bag. It has a pleated top rim and is made of the softest leather. There is a silvertone EL token and a zipper closure. The inside is super roomy can can fit all of your essentials easily. There are additional pockets inside, the largest with a zipper closure and Elliott Lucca nameplate. This bag fits comfortably over the shoulder. Measures approximately 17” x 11”.
Linea Pelle Green Crossbody :: $45 (MSRP $145)
Green is one of my favorite colors for 2011 and crossbody bags are one of my favorite trends. Linea Pelle has combined both with this genuine leather, studded bag. This is a small crossbody and part of why I love about it is that you can put your essentials in here, then stick it in a larger work bag or diaper bag, and pull it right out when you don’t want to lug all those things around with you! Or, free up your hands by bringing this out with you when you grab cocktails with your girlfriends. This bag measures 6.5” x 6”. It comes with the Linea Pelle dust bag.
American Apparel Purple V-Neck Tees :: $8 (MSRP $19) :: size xs (fits small)
I have lots of clothes from American Apparel and I love them because they wash well and almost everything is 100% cotton. I actually grabbed the purple one because I am a HUGE Ravens fan and will hopefully be sporting a lot of purple this month! Then I saw the black ones, which are soooo versatile and great for the casual/chic look that I go for so often, and I decided to grab that too.
Dior Onesie/Hat Set :: $39 (MSRP $178) :: size 3 months
100% Cotton. Dior/Teddy Bear pink and white print.
Marc by Marc Jacobs Top :: $35 (MSRP $198) :: size 8 (medium)
Note: This was clipped in the back to fit me in the picture
WHAT IT IS… A size 8 (medium) Marc by Marc Jacobs multicolored top (blue/rose hues against a black background), featuring a ruffle-detailed sweetheart neckline, a shirred waistline with a smart seam at the midsection and decorative buttons down the front. MSRP $198.
WHY I LOVE IT… I love a fun, interesting tops to begin with. I am always a fan of something that almost guarantees being asked where I got it, and this top definitely has that quality (and when you respond with Oh thanks, it’s Marc by Marc Jacobs – no one is going to guess it was $35!). I really like that it has a tailored cut and a tiny bit of ruffling, which makes the design very feminine. And, the fabric choice is stellar (70 silk/30 cotton) – you have the softness of silk but the weight of cotton. Because this is a medium-weight top – combined with the cut, it is extremely flattering and forgiving.
HOW TO WEAR IT… This top will be the focal point of your outfit, so stick with neutrals. Because it’s more fitted, go with a little more volume on the bottom – either bootcut or wide leg pants, or consider tucking it into a skirt. Wear it under a blazer for a stylish career look, or go casual with cropped jeans in the summer for an easy yet sharp weekend look.
MICHAEL Michael Kors Blouse :: $18 (MSRP $89.50) :: size 4
WHAT IT IS… A 100% cotton, white, short-sleeved, button-down, collared MICHAEL Michael Kors blouse (MSRP $89.50).
WHY I LOVE IT… In the not-news-to-anyone category: everyone must own a white blouse. Multiple white blouses, preferably. And if your collection hasn’t been revamped lately, it’s time to add this fresh, crisp, pretty top to your wardrobe. I love the silver MK buttons and the simple elegance of this particular one – to me, it’s the perfect outfit base.
HOW TO WEAR IT… You can tuck this in or leave it out – it’s totally up to you and the outfit you are wearing. In the colder months, layer a cardigan or blazer overtop and pair it with some charcoal wool trousers. For summer, a sleek pencil skirt, strappy high heels and a string of pearls make for a lovely office look. Or, wear it on the weekend with a pair of dark jeans and embellished ballet flats.
ON THE FIT… This top is listed as a size 4; it will better fit those who typically wear a 6 or a medium.
Zoa Sequin Tee :: $13 (MSRP $64) :: medium
WHAT IT IS… A lightweight white tee with a wide neck, loose fit and sequined grayscale design on the front, by Zoa (MSRP $64).
WHY I LOVE IT… Graphic tees are easy to love and easy to wear – you can spot them in magazines, on TV, in Hollywood… they are in style, in their own right, perpetually. My favorite part about this particular tee is that it has an element of beauty despite being a simple tee shirt; the flowy fit, the boat neck, the glimmer of the clear sequins, the abstract, newsprint-of-days-past style image.
HOW TO WEAR IT… I would definitely love to match this shirt with grays and bold pops of yellow and purple. For a seriously easy, stylish look, just pair it with skinny jeans, add a blazer and heels and your outfit is ready to go. Or, since this is a lightweight material, you can tuck it in to a pair of wide leg jeans and add a bomber or asymmetrical zipper jacket (adding heels or big sunglasses for a feminine element). And for another great idea, head over to one of my favorite blogs, J’s Everyday Fashion (who previously did a whole post about Crush Luxe) – she has a really sharp outfit idea posted here.
ON THE FIT… This is most appropriate for anyone who typically wears a medium or a large (if you normally wear a small, it will fit you how it fits me in the picture above, which is just fine too).
Chelsea & Theodore Pleated Skirt :: $19 (MSRP $48) :: size 10
WHAT IT IS… A taupe-grey, pleated Chelsea & Theodore skirt (MSRP $48). 97% cotton / 3% spandex.
WHY I LOVE IT… I am seriously loving pleats right now – I am not fully on board with pleated pants (for women, that is – I detest them on men) but when it comes to a lovely pleated skirt (or shirt even), I’m drinking the kool-aid big time. And taupe? Taupe is the wonder-color. It matches pretty much everything and you know I am an itty bitty crazed when it comes to versatility.
HOW TO WEAR IT… Pair this cutie with a bold print like I did above, or with anything creamy/ivory. I LOVE taupe and cream. Love love love. You can rock it with a sweater and boots if it’s cold, or brighten it up for spring with your creamy blouse and floral scarf when it warms up. So darn cute!
ON THE FIT… If you intend to wear this as a high-waisted skirt, then yes, it fits like a 10. If you want to wear it regularly, then you need to be an 8.
William Rast “Sadie” Straight Leg Jeans :: $39 (MSRP $220) :: size 27 (size 4)
WHAT IT IS… A size 27 (size 4) pair of 100% cotton, white, ripped/distressed, straight leg William Rast ‘Sadie’ Jeans (MSRP $220).
WHY I LOVE IT… Look for straight/pencil leg jeans to be a force this spring; while the skinny jean will remain a staple in your wardrobe, many women are looking for additional silhouettes to add to their repertoire. I have a pair of William Rast jeans (the black ones you spot me in frequently) and I love them because they look great, they hold up well, wash well and are easy to wear. And I really like the light distressing on this pair – it’s not a focal point but adds just enough interest to be chic.
HOW TO WEAR IT… Because these are slim through the upper half, you can definitely wear them under knee-high boots for a skinny jean effect, making these very versatile. I also love contrast: add a lacy or ruffled top to contrast the distressing, or look for black or jewel tones to balance the white. Pair it with a chunky sweater or turtleneck for the winter (see my notes on white jeans in winter here) and then transition them right into your spring line-up by adding strappy heels and a bold, fun tank. For an easy, stylish look in the summer, try rolling them up a couple of times, then add a cute pair of flat sandals on your feet, your favorite tank up top and a margarita in your hand!
ON THE FIT… These are appropriate for anyone who typically wears a size 4. Approximate measurements: Inseam: 33", Rise: 7", Knee: 14", Leg Opening: 15"
Helmut Lang Black Vest :: $55 (MSRP $230) :: size small
WHAT IT IS… A black cotton vest with a 3-button closure, fitted shape and buckled belt in the back from Helmut Lang.
WHY I LOVE IT… One of my favorite things to do is mix tomboy pieces with femininity. A black vest is reminiscent of a tuxedo, but can be pulled in so many different directions that you can create dozens of looks based on the same simple piece. It can truly transform an outfit. This vest is, like almost everything from the iconic Helmut Lang label, well-cut and well-made. It’s sleek and sharp and the buckle in the back adds a nice piece of interest, also proving functional if you want to cinch it.
HOW TO WEAR IT… We all know black is a neutral and goes with just about everything. I’d love to see this vest a few different ways: try it over a tank top and with a pair of jeans, for cocktails in the summer (add some big earrings and heels). Or throw it on top of your favorite bold-print dress for a totally new look. And, when contrasted against a bright, bold color you can make a real impact. Just make sure you find a balance in varying degrees of femininity in your pieces, and this is going to look great. Also, try belting it with a tan belt!
ON THE FIT… This is accurately listed as a size small.
Kenneth Cole NY Stretch Cotton Shirtdress :: $29 (msrp $99) :: size 6
WHAT IT IS… A purple shirtdress with tabbed sleeves, a hidden button closure and flap pockets by Kenneth Cole New York (retails for $99).
WHY I LOVE IT… Jewel tones are a big favorite of mine – and all over the runway for Spring/Summer 2011. I love this shade of purple, and paired with the design it’s so effortlessly stylish. The button front and belt at the waist give the dress a great shape that will flatter most figures.
HOW TO WEAR IT… With black, chocolate, gray, taupe, gold, mustard, patterns and more! Your shoe choice will depend on the season, but I’d stick with boots, flats or strappy sandals. Try a tank underneath for added dimension, or even change the entire look by switching out the belt for another.
ON THE FIT… Accurately sized as a 6 – this is in petite sizing which means the length is a-ok for shorter girls too. Approximately 35” long
Miu Miu Pleated White Skirt :: $49 (msrp $500)
WHAT IT IS… A 100% cotton white knee length skirt with a wide waist and knife pleats by Miu Miu (retails for $500).
WHY I LOVE IT… Oh my goodness, what’s not to love here?! Miu Miu is an offshoot of Prada and adorns nearly every celebrity under the sun. This skirt is brilliantly feminine and flattering. The length hits just a few inches above the knee which is the perfect spot for lengthening the leg. The wide band at the waist balances out the delicate volume of the skirt, highlighting the narrowest point of your figure. The hem is actually bubbled (barely) which gives the skirt its body. A truly lovely piece for your wardrobe!
HOW TO WEAR IT… I love this look: in the warmer months, try a bright jewel tone or contrasting black up top and a black belt to separate the two. Until then, a set of black tights, tall boots and your coziest sweater will do just fine.
ON THE FIT… This is a European size 44 and fits like a size 8. Length is approximately 18 inches.
American Apparel Micro-Fiber Ripper Skirt :: $10 (msrp $30) :: see fit notes
WHAT IT IS… A navy blue pleated Micro-Fiber Ripper skirt with velcro closure from American Apparel (retails for $30). You can also nab this skirt right now on AmericanApparel.com.
WHY I LOVE IT… I’ve been really into pleated skirts for a while now and Spring 2011 looks to be pushing this style hard. I’m loving the softness of the micro-fiber, and the velcro closure is totally inventive. The wide waist band is super flattering on the waist, and the pleats are going to seriously slim you legs. An adorable silhouette all around!
HOW TO WEAR IT… Navy blue is a neutral so go crazy with your color choice – or don’t! A simple taupe or nude against navy can be just as impressive. Feel free to add a patterned top or scarf. I would pair this skirt with a good set of pumps or flats.
ON THE FIT… The American Apparel size chart lists a Large as an 8-10.
BCBG Max Azria Silk Poppy Top :: $23 (msrp $148) :: size small, medium, large
the top picture above is not the actual top for sale – that one is mine :)
WHAT IT IS. A poppy colored silk tank top from BCBG Max Azxria, with a front pocket and button. There are two layers – the top is silk, the bottom is sheer. 95% silk, 5% spandex.
WHY I LOVE IT. Poppy is one of my all time favorite colors. I wear it year round – pairing it with knits and grays in the winter, then a dash of cream or green in the summer. This tank is totally luxurious AND comfy – two things that are hard to find in one piece. I love the pocket on the front and the two layer design (which works to smooth out everything you want smoothed out underneath!).
HOW TO WEAR IT. You know I love contrast, so try sticking this gorgeous top with a pair of slightly distressed jeans and a pair of sandals in the summer. Or, the obvious – wear it to work underneath a suit, with a pencil skirt, or with a pair of slacks. I love poppy and grey, taupe or ivory.
ON THE FIT. True to size.
BCBG Max Azria Blazer :: $49 (msrp $234) :: sizes small & medium
the blazer pictured above is not the actual blazer for sale – that one is mine :)
WHAT IT IS. A lovely taupe/brown blazer with cropped sleeves, a two button design and cinched waist. 97% cotton / 3% spandex.
WHY I LOVE IT. I love love love blazers as it is. When I buy a blazer, I am looking for one that can be dressed up AND down (some of them are too dressy, or too casual for me) and will go with most of my wardrobe. This BCBG blazer does the trick – it’s cotton and easily paired with jeans, or your dressy work trousers. The back is cinched and very stretchy, which give you tons of shape and makes this a-ok to wear with a wide leg pant (boyfriend blazer + wide leg pants = no thanks).
HOW TO WEAR IT. I have called taupe the “wonder color” before and I stick by it. This jacket really leans toward brown, but there is just enough gray in there to allow it to match a huge array of colors. I love it with a bright coral, as pictured above. Try it with a silky ivory top – that would look amazing!
ON THE FIT. True to size – it you typically wear a small or medium, that size will fit you just right.
BCBG Max Azria Cotton Ruffle Blouse :: $22 (msrp $128) :: size small and medium
the top shown above is not the actual top for sale – that one is mine :)
WHAT IT IS. A white wove cotton blouse with hidden button front and ruffle detail by BCBG Max Azria.
WHY I LOVE IT. A girl CANNOT have enough white blouses – and its important to keep your collection crisp, new and fresh. The key is just to make sure they aren’t all carbon copies of each other, which is why I bought this super pretty one. It doesn’t have a collar (unlike most of my white blouses) and I love the wavy ruffles down the front. I LOVE understated ruffles that aren’t in your face about it.
HOW TO WEAR IT. Don’t wear it with workout pants. Otherwise you are probably good to go! Just kidding (sort of). I am tucking in most of my blouses these days, so I would recommend doing that, and pairing it with a nice belt and some pretty jewelry. I stayed away from a big necklace in my picture above – I think the ruffles are enough details down the front – and instead chose some bangles, a watch and small hoops. And, I love love love it with the BCBG blazer!
ON THE FIT. True to size.
DFA New York Fire Pink Skirt :: $13 (MSRP $40) :: size 10
WHAT IT IS… A deep pink, knee-length, pleated-front, straight cut DFA New York skirt (MSRP $40). 97% cotton / 3% spandex.
WHY I LOVE IT… Coming soon: bright, bold colors that POP! This is a big trend to watch right now; from the runways to the magazines to the street – everyone is looking to get their hands on supersaturated statement pieces. I love the shade of pink of this particular skirt, and especially the front pockets and subtle black strip detailing at the hip. And hello – the price?! Wow.
HOW TO WEAR IT… I will never, ever tire of pink and gray. Any shade will do – a light gray, a charcoal gray – it will all look great. In the colder months, try a smart, tailored, white button-down, tights and pair of knee high boots for a fun yet professional office outfit. And when it get’s warmer, think about pairing it with a lovely gray tank and black (or gray) pumps. Also try adding some mint green or bright orange accents in the form of bangles or earrings.
ON THE FIT… This skirt is accurately sized at a 10. I would have LOVED to model this for you, but couldn’t get my clips to work and had to forego the outfit (I was going to put it with a silky gray snow-leopard print blouse and pumps, if you’re curious). This is a knee-length skirt at 21 inches long.
Tex by Max Azria Striped Cardigan :: $21 (msrp $69) :: size large
the cardigan pictured above is not the actual cardigan for sale – that one is mine :)
WHAT IT IS. A fitted beige and ivory striped cardigan with v-neck, button front, two front pockets and long sleeves.
WHY I LOVE IT. I was really excited to find a cardigan like this for such an awesome price! I love stripes (a lot) and I love cardigans, so this was a natural choice for me. The cut on this is REALLY nice – it’s not baggy or anything. The bottom of the sweater hits at the widest part of the hip, which is a great design choice for a striped top. The sleeves are plenty long (something I always struggle with) and it will go with tons of stuff in my (and hopefully your) closet.
HOW TO WEAR IT. This is going to work like a neutral so feel free to try it with a variety of colors. I would especially lean towards blues, pinks and golds. You can layer it over a button down, put it with a cami and belt it, or layer it with a vest. Because the fit is slim, you are free to couple it with a variety of pant silhouettes.
ON THE FIT. True to size as large.
Tex by Max Azria Gray Shirt :: $13 (msrp $29) :: size large
the shirt pictured above is not the actual shirt for sale – that one is mine :)
WHAT IT IS. A lightweight gray long sleeved knit shirt with buttons down the upper front. Comes with extra button.
WHY I LOVE IT. Everyone must have at least one (or ten) comfy shirts that still look nice. We don’t want to dress up ALL the time, but when we are hanging around the house or running errands, it’s great to have a go-to casual shirt like this one. I bought it because I am often in the position of running out for short trips and I really rely on tops like this to make me look good while I’m doing it.
HOW TO WEAR IT. Pair it with anything from jeans to denim shorts to skinnies to your favorite black yoga pants. Add a tank underneath or a vest over top. Try it with a hoodie or a military inspired jacket. Anything goes!
ON THE FIT. True to size as a large.
Tex by Max Azria Floral Scarf :: $8 (msrp $19)
the scarf pictured above is not the actual scarf for sale – that one is mine :)
Hints of pinks and golds and creams and beige… I love this lightweight scarf! Wear it as a scarf, a headband or a belt. In the picture above, I have wrapped it twice and tied it.
Tex by Max Azria Green Sweater :: $15 (msrp $49) :: size small
the sweater in the picture is not the actual sweater for sale – that one is mine :)
WHAT IT IS. A hunter green lightweight sweater from Tex by Max Azria. 60% cotton 40% viscose.
WHY I LOVE IT. The preppy button-down-under-sweater look is one of my all time favorite. The only problem with it is that sometimes the layers can get a little stuffy. I love a lightweight sweater, like this one, that can either be worn by itself or layered depending on my outfit and mood. And the color is just gorgeous! The cut is great too – the sleeves have the appropriate length, the bottom hits right at the hip and the overall shape is slim and flattering.
HOW TO WEAR IT. Throw it right over a button down, add jeans, and voila! Super cute outfit. For a dressier look, try it with a pair of cream or gray slacks (or skirt) and add a pretty broach or a chunky necklace.
ON THE FIT. True to size as a small.
BCBG Max Azria Blue Silk Top :: $22 (msrp $122) :: size large
the top picture above is not the actual top for sale – that one is mine :)
WHAT IT IS. A sleeveless blue 100% silk top with rouched neckline and loose fit from BCBG Max Azria.
WHY I LOVE IT. I am always drawn to jewel tones, I think they are so beautiful! A bright, saturated blue like this one is RIGHT up my alley. I love how it can be put against just about any other piece in your ensemble, but it is always the one that “makes” the outfit.
HOW TO WEAR IT. I love it with just about any neutral. You can try adding stripes or even an animal print somewhere in your outfit for a really fun, crisp look. This is definitely a work appropriate top, when paired with a blazer or cardigan – but coming from someone who doesn’t work in an office, I can tell you that I will get plenty of use out of this by putting it with my black skinny jeans or a cute skirt.
ON THE FIT. True to size as a large.
Petit Lem Striped Footed Romper :: $11 (MSRP $28) :: size 6M
breadandbutter Racerback Shirtdress :: $15 (msrp $99) :: large (but fits most sizes)
WHAT IT IS… A long peach racerback from Bread & Butter (retails for $99). 100% micro modal
WHY I LOVE IT… Racerbacks are a classic tank style – great for layering over another tank or under a sweater or jacker. And, I’m always on the prowl for tops that work with leggings, like this one. I’m also a big fan of the super-soft, lightweight micro-modal, which is a necessity for comfortable layers.
HOW TO WEAR IT… I absolutely love this with gray – try pairing it with a gray tank underneath, or gray cargo pants. Another great combination would be mixing in a cobalt blue (try a blazer), charcoal black or a jewel-tone purple. While it’s still chilly you’ll want to throw a cozy cardigan overtop, but come summer you can rock this with your skinnies, or tuck it into your flares.
ON THE FIT… This top is listed as a large but, like most oversize/loose tees, is totally okay for a wide range of sizes; it will just be looser or tighter depending on your preference. For reference, I am typically a size extra small.
Joe’s Jeans Skinny Military Pant in Charcoal :: $44 (msrp $148) :: size 29
WHAT IT IS… A 100% cotton gray skinny military pant with side pockets, back flap pockets, waist button-tabs and zip hems by Joe’s Jeans (retails for $148). Sidenote: I own these! (Mine are khaki.)
ON THE FIT… A 29 in Joe’s should fit like a 29 in 7 For All Mankind or Citizens.
Donna Degnan Silk Skirt :: $19 (MSRP $148) :: fits size 6
WHAT IT IS... A knee length 100% silk blue pencil skirt with foldover design and subtle pleating at the waist from Donna Degnan.
WHY I LOVE IT... I love this one!! A colorful skirt is SUCH an awesome way to spruce up your work wardrobe. We are always looking for new tops, new patterns, new accessories and new ways to look great – so why not bring that pop of color into your skirt? I also love that this is a thick, woven silk – it looks and feels expensive and NO ONE is going to guess that you paid $19 for it.
HOW TO WEAR IT... I swoon over blue and creamy beiges or tan. For a bit of fun, try a mustard colored accessory. In the colder months, you can still totally wear a skirt to work – just wear it with tights, a sweater and a blazer and stick to darker colors or knits. Once the flowers bloom, it’s all about the pumps and pretty blouses.
ON THE FIT... This skirt is listed as an 8, but fits like a 6.
Tex by Max Azria Cream Sweater :: $15 (msrp $49) :: size medium
the sweater pictured on me is my own sweater – the same one in green
WHAT IT IS. A lovely cream lightweight sweater from Tex by Max Azria. 60% cotton 40% viscose.
WHY I LOVE IT. The preppy button-down-under-sweater look is one of my all time favorites. The only problem with it is that sometimes the layers can get a little stuffy. I love a lightweight sweater, like this one, that can either be worn by itself or layered depending on my outfit and mood. The cut is great too – the sleeves have the appropriate length (I hate when they are too short), the bottom hits right at the hip and the overall shape is slim and flattering.
HOW TO WEAR IT. Throw it right over a button down, add jeans, and voila! Super cute outfit. For a dressier look, try it with a pair of beige or gray slacks (or skirt) and add a pretty broach or a chunky necklace.
ON THE FIT. True to size as a small.
Free People Noblita Shirtdress :: $12 (msrp $49) :: size large
WHAT IT IS… A cool blue-gray tank shirtdress by Free People’s Noblita line.
WHY I LOVE IT… Perfect for layering! The color is neutral so it can go with anything. I also love how the neckline is nice and loose, so you can really see the layers. It’s thin, too, so you won’t get hot if you decide to put a tank under it and sweater or jacket over it.
HOW TO WEAR IT… I love this paired with the breadandbutter shirtdress! You can add any color tank and wear it as a top with jeans as well. Try it with a pair of wide leg pants and a zipper moto jacket. Super cute!
ON THE FIT… True to size as a large.
XCVI Blue Wide Leg Pants :: $15 (MSRP $138) :: fits size 4
WHAT IT IS… A pair of XCVI slate blue twill wide leg pants with front and back pockets. 98% cotton 2% lycra.
WHY I LOVE IT… You have heard me talk about wide leg pants a lot lately (ever since I got my J Brand Hawkeyes) and I am spotting them everywhere and loving it. I think a lot of women are feeling like it’s time to mix things up a bit and I couldn’t agree more! This pair is BLUE which I totally love. Blue pants! Fantastic! The bottom is nice and wide too, so you really nail the new look.
HOW TO WEAR IT… Blue is easy. That’s probably why jeans are blue (or is it?). Add a bright white shirt, an easy cardi or a patterned blouse. I love pops of garnet and gold against a blue and white outfit, too. You will look most polished in a fitted or tailored top, but I love a flowy peasant blouse tucked into wide leg pants as long as there is a belt around the waist.
ON THE FIT… These are listed as an extra small and fit like a size 4. The inseam is 31”.
Single Halter Shirtdress :: $18 (msrp $150) :: size small
WHAT IT IS… A super cute halter top shirtdress from Single (retails for $150).
WHY I LOVE IT… Who doesn’t love a bright, fun pop of color? It goes with leggings, which is a huge bonus for me (because I love them) and it’s just a fun little piece all around.
HOW TO WEAR IT… Wear this with a pair of legging and a cardigan or a blazer and you are pretty much good to go! I would stick with neutrals because this is a bold color. Try belting it too!
ON THE FIT… this is listed as a small and fits so – could also fit a smaller medium.
Juicy Couture Dolman Sleeve Tunic :: $29 (msrp $198) :: size medium
This one is an encore! (Hence the two-month-old picture.) I own this top myself (that’s mine in the picture) and I absolutely LOVE it. Originally, I saw a glamorous model-looking girl in Aldo wearing it, and I stalked it down, got one for myself and sold one to a reader. Now I have found one more – yay!
WHAT IT IS… A Juicy Couture Dolman Sleeve Tunic with sequin embellishment on the shoulders and thin shoulder pads (removed if desired).
WHY I LOVE IT… This Juicy Couture dolman-sleeved tunic is cut to perfection. It is the perfect length, perfect texture, perfect everything. The shoulders are adorned with exactly the right amount of black sequins. Inside you will find lightweight shoulder padding that can be snipped out if desired (though that model girl left them, and I did too). Sigh. Fabulousness.
HOW TO WEAR IT… I have worn it with my jeggings and boots pictured above, and thrown a blazer on over top. When it warms up I plan to switch the boots out for pumps or strappy heels. This is a great going-out outfit!
ON THE FIT… runs true to size.
Equipment Top :: $20 (msrp $178) :: fits medium
WHAT IT IS… A white, medium-weight, military inspired button-down top with white buttons and subtle distressing from Equipment (retails for $178). 100% cotton.
WHY I LOVE IT… I love this one! I would totally wear this as a vest, and I am all about vests right now. And, Equipment is THE designer of button-downs (ie the Signature blouse seen on many celebrities). I think the tiny bit of distressing perfectly compliments the style of the vest, and I love that this is a heavier weight fabric, which is great for wearing this in the way I have it pictured above.
HOW TO WEAR IT… Like I said, I would love to see this as a vest. Try it over a long-sleeved top, with skinny jeans and boots while it’s still cold. As soon as the weather breaks, couple it with your favorite tank top and a pair of skinny or wide leg jeans and sandals.
ON THE FIT… I find that Equipment tends to run a little big. This is listed as a small, but to me it fits like a medium. I used a tiny clip on the back of the vest for my picture.
Margaret M Cropped Pants :: $18 (msrp $99) :: size 4
WHAT IT IS… A wardrobe staple: a black cropped pant with rolled cuff and zipper/button closure from Margaret M (retails for $99).
WHY I LOVE IT… Cropped pants hit the runway in full force this year – you’ve probably been wearing them for many years now, but designers are loving a pencil fit and longer length, hitting just above the ankle (or a few inches higher for taller girls). This is perfect work-to-play transitional wear; it’s totally appropriate for either, depending on what you do with it. They sit at just the right spot on the waist (9.5”/medium rise) and the crop is the desirable length—not so long that you look like your pants are too short, and not so short that you look more casual than cool.
HOW TO WEAR IT… Dress them up with pumps and a button-down blouse and cardigan. Or simply add a pair of flats and a sheer tee layered over a tank. There are endless possibilities when it comes to a classic pant like this one.
ON THE FIT… These pants are a size 4 and fit so. The inseam measures 21” and the rise is a medium rise at 9.5”. For reference, I am on the taller side (5’7”) so the pants are a little shorter on me (as they should be).
Romeo & Juliet Couture Belted Trench :: $55 (msrp $200) :: size medium
WHAT IT IS… A lightweight, black, belted, pleated trench with button closure, goldtone buttons and interior lining from Romeo & Juliet Couture (retails for $200). 97% cotton, 3% spandex.
WHY I LOVE IT… OH how this lovely jacket reminds me of Audrey Hepburn! I grabbed it the minute I saw it and tried it on immediately. I instantly fell in love with the cinched waist (I love jackets that pull in the waist to reduce bulkiness, and I even belt my non-belted jackets with a stretch belt). It is such a lovely feminine take on a truly classic style. A beautiful black trench coat is a MUST in every woman’s wardrobe, and this might be my favorite one yet.
HOW TO WEAR IT… I really wanted to model this with my white skinny jeans, which are presently in the washing machine, so I went with black. I love it with skinny jeans or leggings but by no means are you restricted to them. This would pair beautifully with a dress, a skirt or a flare leg pant. Add a gorgeous scarf (I would have for the picture but I wanted you to see the whole thing) and grab you favorite tote and you will look totally fabulous.
ON THE FIT… This fits like a medium but like almost all R&J it runs a little small. A dress size 4, 6 and 8 would all be appropriate for this jacket.
Chelsea & Theodore White Knit Tank :: $13 (msrp $58) :: sizes small
WHAT IT IS… A white knit tank with tan trim from Chelsea & Theodore (retails for $58).
WHY I LOVE IT… I was hoping this ran small because the small one was supposed to be for me… unfortunately, it’s true to size and a touch too big for me. I bought it because I LOVE white and tan together and it would be so versatile… I am always looking for cute tops to wear under my cardigans and blazers (aren’t we all??)
HOW TO WEAR IT… I love it underneath a blazer or cardi but it can totally be worn alone (and the straps are wide enough to hide your bra straps too!). Try it against black like I did above – I love this look!
ON THE FIT… True to size.
Vertigo Paris Cardigan :: $48 (msrp $240) :: size medium
the cardigan in the picture is not the actual cardigan for sale – that one is mine :)
WHAT IT IS… A gray and white knit 3/4 sleeve two-button cardigan from Vertigo Paris (retails for $240).
WHY I LOVE IT… I saw this cardigan from afar and bee-lined for it. It was, without a doubt, love at first sight! When I touched it, I was even more in love. It’s SO soft, so comfy cozy… I am elated to have found this cardigan!
HOW TO WEAR IT… Add it over any top, put on a pair of skinnies and you have the PERFRECT cozy cold weather outfit. And, because the sleeves are 3/4 length, you can use this in place of a jacket in the spring. I might wear this every single day. Love!!!
ON THE FIT… this fits true to size.
WALTER Walter Baker Snakeprint Dress :: $23 (msrp $118) :: size extra small
WHAT IT IS… A super cute open back snakeprint cocktail dress by WALTER Walter Baker (retails for $118).
WHY I LOVE IT… This is SUCH a cute take on a cocktail dress! I love the open back and the fun, flirty silhouette. This is a great piece to have in your closet when you are getting ready to go out for drinks at a trendy restaurant. Love it.
HOW TO WEAR IT… I tried this belted and loved it. You can add a blazer, pumps and cute clutch for a well put together look.
ON THE FIT… this is true to size as an extra small and will fit a dress size 2.
Cha Cha Vente Tops :: $15 each (msrp $48) :: size medium
the tops pictured above are not the actual tops for sale – both of those are mine :)
WHAT IT IS… Two tops by Cha Cha Vente, one black and one white. A v-neck, cascade ruffle down the front, and gathering in the middle.
WHY I LOVE IT… I bought these because they are great wardrobe basics. They are totally cute and feminine and can be worn a hundred different ways!
HOW TO WEAR IT… The versatility of these tops is why I bought them, so go crazy. The ruffles add enough volume to wear them with skinny jeans, but the narrow cut means you can wear them with flare or wide legs too. A structured blazer looks great against the ruffles and big earrings add to the femininity.
ON THE FIT… These are true to size as a medium, but because they are stretchy, they fit a size small as well (I am wearing a medium in the pictures above).
Vertigo Paris Cheetah Blouse :: $22 (msrp $140) :: size small
WHAT IT IS… A silky cheetah-print blouse with collar and button snap front from Vertigo Paris (retails for $140).
WHY I LOVE IT… If you have a wardrobe full of neutrals then you have a great base, but it’s time to add a little color and zing! This top is totally adorable and a really awesome way to spice up your current rotation.
HOW TO WEAR IT… This is your outfit’s statement piece! Pair it with neutrals and let it shine. A blazer and a pair of jeans are a great way to look effortlessly fabulous.
ON THE FIT… True to size as a small.
The Linea Pelle Collection is known for handcrafted Italian leather belts. This one is deeply discounted because it has a blemish on a non-visible part of the belt, which I have taken a picture of so you can see (bottom picture, right by the clasp, the leather is scratched, it’s covered by the belt when you wear it – see top picture). This is the kind of belt that you “break in” – it’s leather so it will ultimately become distressed, soft and comfy. Not to mention, it will probably last quite some time. You can’t even get belts this cheap at Target. Brand new without tags. Belt holes are located from 37” to 41” – a pretty standard XL.
Tahari Pure Red Top :: $24 (MSRP $118) :: size large
Okay I am crazy about this top. It’s not something I would normally have tried on, but once I did I was obsessed. The color is absolutely gorgeous – they call it pure red, but it almost has a tinge of pink to it, which means you can wear this year round. Thank you, once again, to Tahari for giving us another winner that is totally wearable and gorgeous.
On the fit: I clipped the back to make it fit me. This fits like a medium/large/8/10.
BCBG Cream Cardigan :: $21 (MSRP $100) :: size large
Theory Top :: $22 (MSRP $225) :: size large
This super cute cream Theory top was too big on me, so I clipped it in the back to give you an idea of how it will look. I love the tie front and faint pinstripes, and especially the fact that this is a multi-use kind of shirt – you can dress it up or down and try it out with a variety of outfits. Try tucking it in to a cute, bold-colored skirt and throwing a cardigan on top. So cute!! On the fit: true to size as a large.
BCBG Sweater Hoodie :: $30 (MSRP $140) :: size medium
I love a good hoodie! This one is gray with a rhinestone BCBG embellishment on the front, and then again in small letters on the back of the hoodie. The zipper closure has a “B” emblem and there are two slanted pockets on the front. It’s REALLY soft and feels great against your skin! On the fit: fits like a medium to small.
Romeo & Juliet Couture Hoodie & Pants :: $30 (MSRP $128) :: size medium
Note: the set pictured on me is a different color/pattern. The set for sale is the gray one.
Bingo! A super cute designer velour hoodie and pants at an affordable price. The color is gray, with an embellished design on the back and arm of the hoodie and front thigh of the pants. I love love love having something like this to wear around the house, to the gym or on a quick errand. I’m sure most of you already have a set like this, and in my opinion you can’t have too many! Love it!
On the fit: true to size as a medium
Max Studio Plaid Skirt :: $20 (MSRP $58) :: size 4 (fits 6)
Cuuuuute! And what a deal! This is a chocolate plaid skirt with a hint of burgundy, featuring a flared hem that looks great with boots and tights. I paired it with wedge boots, a burgundy turtleneck and the Romeo & Juliet Couture Brown Jacket that is also listed. I love this whole outfit!
On the fit: the material is stretchy and fits like a 4/6.
Cable & Gauge Jasper Sweater :: $29 (MSRP $58) :: size large
This is the same gorgeous color as the Daniel Rainn top I posted last week. I am totally smitten with this color! This is a high rib soft sweater knit top featuring roll-tab sleeves with exposed zipper detail. I tried it both belted and unbelted and I liked it both ways. I love this with black jeans and a long or chunky necklace. I would also love to see this with some pretty, gray trousers for the office.
On the fit: very stretchy banded waist. Fits large but could easily work as a medium.
Dior Addict Lip Gloss #257 Pearl :: $21 (MSRP $27)
This is my all-time, most favorite, most adored, best lip gloss I have ever had. I want you to try it, wear it and love it too! And of course, not to pay retail. This is a high gloss, shiny plumper in a light translucent pink called “Pearl”. I promise that you will worship it and, if you haven’t already, convert to Dior forever.
Adrienne Vittadini Black Pencil Skirt :: $20 (MSRP $78) :: size 4
A black pencil skirt is a wardrobe staple! Or better yet, you should have multiples. I liked this one in particular because (and I know the photo is dark) the fabric on the front is actually wrapped, with a teeny tiny bit of pleating. I love the overall effect and that this won’t be confused with all the other black pencil skirts in the office. Wear it with a gorgeous blouse and boots or heels and you can’t go wrong.
On the fit: true to size, fits like a 4/27/small.
French Connection Woven Top :: $19 (MSRP $138) :: size 4/s/m
I really wish you could feel fabric over the internet, because this adorable black French Connection top is so incredibly soft and smooth against your skin! It features small, embroidered triangle cut-out detailing and tie straps. The cut is breezy and loose fitting, perfect for wearing with skinny jeans or legging. I love it – it’s feminine and pretty and really easy to wear.
On the fit: the sleeves tie which is helpful in getting this to fit you just right. The size is listed as a 4; if you typically wear a small or medium, this should fit well. The length is 22” (not including the sleeve straps).
Hype Gulf Blue Crossbody :: $65 (MSRP $175)
I absolutely adore this blue Hype crossbody bag (super hot right now btw) with satin pink lining. It’s 100% Genuine Leather and has lots of compartments inside -- perfect for keeping your all of your handbag essentials organized. I am totally and completely in love with the color. This shade of blue matches almost everything and is such a great way to revamp you look without spending a lot of money.
Elliott Lucca Madeleine Bag in Black :: $80 (MSRP $298)
This is a luxurious, genuine leather, authentic Elliott Lucca bag. It has both tote handles and a crossbody strap (great for moms and not to mention very in-style) and the inside is super roomy. VERY soft leather. Such a great everyday bag – I just love Elliott Lucca handbags and am so happy to have one to list!
Carlos Falchi East West Satchel in Bronze :: $99 (MSRP $395)
This is a large, beautiful Carlos Falchi satchel with a crossbody strap and tote handles. It’s a gorgeous bronze color with his signature floral print interior, and has tons of room inside, complete with compartments for you wallet, a phone holder and even pen slots! “Fatto a mano” means this bag is actually handmade – there are only a few upscale designers left that still sell handmade bags, including Carlos Falchi, Chanel and Hermes.
Elliott Lucca Large Gold Tote :: $119 (MSRP $300)
This is a drop-dead gorgeous pale golden genuine leather Elliott Lucca designer handbag (that’s a mouthful!). This beauty has a leather exterior and cotton interior, with a delicate woven pattern and gold colored Elliott Lucca nameplate. This is a large, roomy bag measuring 17” at the widest and 11” tall (not including handles). What I love about this color (and I have a pair of ballet flats in this shade) is that it matches everything! Black, brown, jewel tones – you name it and this bag will probably go with it. By the way, the shape is just perfect. I love it.
Elliott Lucca Blue Handbag :: $65 (MSRP $200)
I guess I have a thing for blue handbags! Okay – so you want a genuine leather bag and you don’t want to pay tons of money for it. Me either! This super cute tassled (read: in style) Elliott Lucca bag is a great addition to any collection. It’s medium sized, measuring 13 inches wide and 8 inches high. Zipper closure with zippered pockets inside. Such a nice (and memorable) departure from brown and black bags!

I have a Michael Kors MK5260 watch for sale! It’s a gorgeous watch and I am excited to be listing it! It took a few weeks for me to get one for this price. I have only one and no other colors available.
A chic and elegant watch in alluring champagne hues, by Michael Kors. Ion-plated goldtone stainless steel bracelet and round case. Champagne mother-of-pearl dial with gold-tone stick indices, numerals, logo, date window and crystal accents at indices. Quartz movement. Water resistant to 50 meters. Face measures approximately 1.5 inches diameter.
Michael Kors White Leather Watch MK5073 :: $75 (MSRP $120)
Hi! I have the same watch. I am obsessed with it. It’s a white leather-banded Michael Kors croc print MK5073. The case is stainless steel silvertone and the dial is white mother of pearl. The face measure about 1.5” across and the watch is water resistant to 50 meters. You can seriously wear this watch anywhere. The leather band makes it just sporty enough to rock when you’re running errands, and the mother of pearl face and subtle croc print mean you can wear it with your fanciest of outfits as well. Trust me – it’s a great watch! Brand new, with tags and instruction manual. Love! (This watch does not come with a box, in an attempt to save on packing/shipping and other costs.)
Michael Kors White Leather MK5091 Watch :: $105 (MSRP $180)
This is a beautiful brand new Michael Kors croc-embossed leather-banded MK5091 white watch. White watches have been spotted everywhere from the runway to the office, and if you don’t have one yet – there is no better time than now! The case is goldtone stainless steel and the dial is white mother of pearl. The face measures about 1.5 inches across and the dial features gorgeous genuine SWAROVSKI crystals around the entire perimeter. I don’t think I need to say much more about this watch – the pictures should speak for themselves. It’s stunning. (This watch does not come with a box, in an attempt to save on packing/shipping and other costs.)
Walter by Walter Baker Trench :: $50 (MSRP $398) :: size medium
Over the course of the past week I have been developing a slight obsession with this Walter trench (you may have seen me post or tweet about it). Finally, I bit the bullet and now it is here for you to drool over, too. This is a lightweight animal-printed double-breasted collared trench coat with button closures down the front and a buckled belt and a polyester interior lining. The exterior is 100% cotton and 10000% awesome. Dry clean only. On the fit: true to size as a medium.
Kate Spade Small Stevie in Black :: $89 (MSRP $225)
Cuuute! One of the many reasons I love this bag is because it is such a great size – not too small and not too big. Just right! I’m also loving the contrasting leather trim; this is a Stevie bag (a very classic kate spade design) so you really can’t go wrong with it. This one comes with tags attached, the ks dust bag, care card and gift box. (By the way, I promised the lovely lady over at Heir to Blair that I would show her some ways to wear a gray sheath dress to work, hence the different outfits!)

XCVI Blue Blazer :: $39 (MSRP $148) :: size large
Finding a casual designer blazer for this price is almost impossible! I love this slate blue piece from XCVI (a Neiman’s and Bloomingdale’s staple), featuring a three button closure, with front pockets and four buttons along each sleeve. The color is awesome – I would love to see it with a pair of gray slacks or khakis. Plus, you can wear it with dark jeans to dress up your favorite weekend look. On the fit: this fits like a large – it was too big for me to try on for you, then again, if it were in my size I probably wouldn’t have listed it ;-)
Helmut Lang Khaki Blazer :: $125 (MSRP $540) :: size 4/6
This MIGHT be the greatest blazer ever made. It’s a khaki colored cotton twill Helmut Lang with a tailored fit and two button design. I am impressed by how versatile this blazer is – it’s the perfect in-between material, so it can be dressed way up or simply worn with jeans. This is the kind of piece you add to your wardrobe and wear on a regular basis for YEARS, and never regret buying it. On the fit: this is listed as a 6 and runs small, fitting like a 4. I did clip it in the back when I photographed it on me.
D. EXTERIOR Dress :: $45 (MSRP $325) :: fits 6
This feminine, pretty, tiered ruffle dress by super upscale designer D. EXTERIOR comes straight from Italy (even the tags are in Italian). I am totally and completely IN LOVE with it! I added a wide belt around the middle since it was a little too big for me, and really loved the effect. It looks great with tall boots, or with opaque tights and platform pumps. Just add a blazer or jacket in winter, or a floral scarf in the summer and wear it year-round. (Belt not included.)
Michael Stars Pima Cotton Tee :: $14 (MSRP $50) :: one size fits most
I think I have mentioned before that my closet is full of Michael Stars tees – I can’t get enough of them! If you haven’t owned one of these before, then you should know that they wash great, fit beautifully and are made from 100% super soft pima cotton. When it comes to a tee, no one does it better than Michael Stars (except Bread & Butter, who makes a darn fine tee as well). This one is a very pale green (borders on yellow) and a sheer, lightweight fabric that is great for layering. On the fit: very stretchy like most MS shirts. Leans smaller rather than larger.
Michael Stars Supima Cotton Shirred Scoop Swing Top :: $19 (MSRP $59) :: one size fits most (loose fit)
Michael Stars Aruba Shine Crew Tee :: $15 (MSRP $44) :: one size fits most
Stephanie B Yellow Supima Cotton Vee :: $15 (MSRP $52) :: size xs (fits small/medium!)
Romeo & Juliet Couture Ruffled Top :: $19 (MSRP $152) :: size medium
This is SUCH a pretty top! I have one that is very similar (from Target, and I paid MORE for it, go figure) and I have gotten a ton of use out of it. It’s a black top with sheer ruffles down the front and a keyhole button back (which I think is a great detail on this shirt). It’s not poofy or in-your-face – just enough ruffling to be feminine and pretty and interesting. In the first picture, I paired it with the R&J Short Pant that I have listed ($19) and in the second, I put it with the Donna Degnan Blue Skirt ($25). I absolutely love both looks. On the fit: this fits right in between a medium and small and is very forgiving (because of the ruffles!)
French Connection Emma Pink Cardi :: $28 (MSRP $118) :: size medium
I know I sound like a broken record, but I just love to be both stylish and comfortable and I really love it when a piece can accomplish both. This short sleeved cardigan is sooo soft – it’s lightweight and feels like the softest, smoothest t-shirt you can imagine. It has two pockets on the front, a v-neck and button closure. The fit is loose and boyfriend-like, with dolman sleeves. Machine wash cold.
Romeo & Juliet Couture Bow Top :: $20 (MSRP $141) :: size medium
I LOVE this adorable white knit top from one of my favorites, Romeo & Juliet Couture. I especially like the cut of the neckline, the pretty black bow and also how versatile this top is – check out the different ways I wear it in the pictures above. This is the second time I have listed this top and I just had to grab it when I saw it again! On the fit: this top fits closer to a small and is not ideal for busty girls (it’s good up to about a C cup)
BCBG Max Azria Ash Gray Sweater :: $28 (MSRP $160) :: size large
This is a classic, pretty sweater that I love at retail price – let alone for 35 bucks! It’s long, measuring 29 inches from top to bottom, and has two front pockets and a deep v neck. I love the bell sleeves and the slim fit. This sweater is a wool/angora blend.
On the fit: this fits like a medium or large. It is slim through the waist but stretchy so there is plenty of leeway
Michael Stars Pink Banded Hem Tunic :: $11 (MSRP $54) :: one size fits most (fits s/m)
Helmut Lang Poplin Draped Short :: $49 (MSRP $230) :: size 2
Helmut Lang is not so easy to come by for an average girl like me, which is why the affordable price on these adorable little black shorts is just plain awesome. I recently read this article written by a Crush Luxe reader and totally agree that shorts can make great winter or party attire (and of course, they are worn in warm weather too!). As she mentions, you should wear them with a fitted top. Add a blazer and either tall boots or platform pumps to complete the look. I love this!
$200 Elliott Lucca Leather Crossbody for $75
I loooove Elliott Lucca bags! This one is a brown leather crossbody with silver trim and a braided strap. This bag has a messenger-style fold flap closure and a silvertone Elliott Lucca nameplate. It measures approximately 11 inches across by 7 inches high. It’s completely adorable and great for an everyday bag!
$48 Cha Cha Vente Top for $16 (size large)
Things you should know about me: 1) I hate birds [HATE THEM]; 2) I also hate tornadoes – a lot; 3) I am slightly obsessed with dolman sleeves. Why? Because they are a GREAT way to add volume up top if you are wearing something narrow on the bottom (like a pencil skirt, skinny or pencil leg jeans, or leggings) without adding pure bulk. The sleeve line comes inward toward the waist and gives the illusion of a narrower waistline, making dolman shirts especially flattering. Belting this type of shirt accentuates the effect, just make sure there is enough fabric on the bottom to hit you BELOW the widest part of your midsection(aka the hip area). This top is a gorgeous teal with a v-neck and made of a rayon/spandex blend. Very soft!
On the fit: how do you want it to fit? If you are a small you can wear it how I am wearing it above, if you are a medium or large, it will fit you well but differently. Your choice!
Matt & Nat Purple Tote :: $59 (MSRP $225)
HOORAY! A bag that fits school books, file folders, notebooks or work stuff (or kid stuff!) and is still totally cute! If you have a lot to carry around, then jump on this very cool purple VEGAN handbag. It’s made out of 21 recycled plastic bottles and even the supersoft suede-like interior lining is made out of 16 plastic bottles. How? I have NO idea. But I love it! Comes with Matt & Nat dust bag.

These cardigans would make a great gift! The Ivory on is a MEDIUM and the Berry one is a SMALL.
Both are 100% cotton sweater knit cardigans from Donna Karan New York. This is a long cardigan that would look fabulous with leggings or your favorite jeans. The boyfriend look has a feminine take – a pretty black lace detail set vertically down either side of the front.

A drop-dead gorgeous Diane von Furstenberg top, with a golden chains inside the tuxedo pleat (which by the way are super hot right now if you open any magazine). Size medium – fits like an 8/10
Neiman Marcus Beaded Zebra Clutch :: $25 (MSRP $50)
You know that stylish best friend who you are always kind of wary shopping for? Yeah, she wants this. I promise. This one falls under the “one for me, one for you” column. As in, I have another, and I’m keeping it. Featuring a zipper closure, the inside is a black satin material with a pocket for credit cards. This fashionable clutch measures 8.5” x 3.5”.
Tahari Beige Suit :: $65 (MSRP $598) :: size 4
Note: This was big on me! It definitely fits like a 4. I’m posting the picture of me in it anyway
I am swooning over this beautiful suit by Tahari. It is everything I look for in a suit – a color that goes with virtually anything, a sleek one-button design, a fitted cut and a boot cut pant. Grab your favorite work tote and see your clients in style.
On the fit: runs true to size. I had to hold it in the back to make it fit me.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The inseam is approximately 31 inches. I should add that this is actual Tahari, NOT the cheaper Tahari ASL. Original, beautiful, Tahari.
Romeo & Juliet Couture Sheer Ruffle Top :: $20 (MSRP $145) :: size m
I just really love this designer. Everything by Romeo & Juliet couture is so feminine and romantic. This sheer black top has a draped, ruffled neckline embellished with a single pretty rosette. In my first outfit picture, I belted it, paired it with jeggings, tall boots and a layered necklace. In the second picture I added a fur vest. This would also look stunning tucked into a high waisted pencil skirt, with pumps and a blazer. Love!!!
On the fit: fits like a small/medium
Michael Kors Raglan Sleeve Cardigan :: $23 (MSRP $99.50) :: size petite/small
Here is a black, short sleeve knit cardigan by Michael Kors. It pretty much goes with anything! I have listed and sold a few of these already, and I love them just as much each time. This is the type of thing that becomes a wardrobe staple.

Matty M Embroidered Tunic :: $17 (MSRP $88) :: size small (fits medium)
This pretty top from Matty M features black-on-black embroidery, a drawstring hip and button eyelet closure at the scoop neckline. REALLY soft and comfy to wear! Try it with a fur vest, white skinnies and tall black boots as pictured above. And like almost everything else, you can rock with with a regular old pair of jeans for an casual yet put-together look.
Linq Stripe Tee :: $18 (MSRP $78) :: size small
Stripes! I love me some stripes. I think I would wear this shirt every single day if it were mine because it’s so incredibly soft and lightweight, with wide sand colored stripes. Plus it’s collared, striped and long which just happen to be three of my favorite things in a shirt. I love it with a cardigan; perfect for those days where it’s just too cold to get all dressed up but you still (kind of) want to look presentable (let’s face it, those days are plentiful in the winter!). The v-neck is deep: you will probably want to layer this over a cami or another shirt. 100% cotton.
On the fit: this is shirt could fit anyone from an xs to a medium; it really just depends on how you want it to fit.
White Jeggings :: $10 (MSRP $20) :: size medium
Equipment Femme Military Plaid Shirt :: $28 (MSRP $198) :: size xs
I LOVE this one. Military chic is more popular than ever and this couture top does it perfectly. And why wouldn’t it? It’s by Equipment Femme, THE designer of button down shirts for women. If Jane Birkin (of handbag fame) loves this line, you will too. The plaid is a mixture of brown, black and sand. This shirt fits like a small to extra small.
Coach Wristlet :: $45 (MSRP $108)
I love this gray Coach clutch, but I love the price even more! Patent leather, zipper closure, small wrist strap. Carrying a diaper bag with you all the time? Throw your cell phone and other necessities in this, then toss it in the diaper bag. Done and done! And not to mention, it makes a GREAT gift. Plus it’s Coach – it will hold up to a ton of abuse and their customer service is awesome.
Cynthia Rowley Robe :: $39 (MSRP $395)
Yes, $400 robes DO exist! The size small one from the previous listing was sold, but I have more of these beautiful robes, this time in sizes medium and large (pictured above is the small). This dream robe is teal with an inner tie and outer belt. The sleeves can be rolled and tied on warm nights or let loose when it’s cooler. Wear it with your favorite pajama pants and you probably will never wear real clothes again.
I’m sure this goes without saying, but this would make a fantastic gift!
Giorgio Armani 100% Silk Necktie :: $55 (MSRP $140)
A beautifully made necktie from Giorgio Armani is probably going to make most guys happy! This one features charcoal, black and silver striping with a touch of subtle taupe and purple detailing. A beautiful tie.
Portolano Wool/Cashmere Blend Gray Gloves :: $27 (MSRP $50)
Fingerless gloves are majorly in style this Winter – and this fab pair from Portolano will become a fast favorite for your fashionable sister or girlfriend. Or… you? It’s okay to shop for yourself, too ;-)
Hanky Panky Gift Ornaments :: $14 each (MSRP $30)
Are we all on board with Hanky Panky? For those a little late to the game, Hanky Panky makes the best underwear ever. There are no lines when you wear them, they hold up for years, they are gorgeous and you can even wear them VERY comfortable when you are pregnant. Each little ornament comes with one set of low rise thong Hanky Panky underwear. You have a choice between purple box with hot pink thongs, or green box with leopard print thongs.
The White Company Embroidered V-Neck :: $18 (MSRP $128) :: size medium
So cute! I’m always on the hunt for tops with great personality like this beautifully embroidered v-neck from WHITE. The waist is cinched – I took it a step further and belted it – but you could do it either way. It pairs up seamlessly with skinnies or jeggings and boots. I could see a cozy cardigan overtop for the perfect cute-but-comfy wear. This top is 100% cotton, machine wash cold, and made in India. Brand new without tags. On the fit: true to size – fits just like a medium should.
Juicy Couture 100% Silk Top :: $35 (MSRP $158) :: size 12 (fits large)
Ohhh, remember this one?! It was my first listing EVER, in a dot medley. I have it again, this time in a gorgeous magenta (pictured above is the cream on which is a size 6). It's one of those effortlessly chic and comfortable pieces that quickly becomes your "go-to" item. And the buttons, which you unfortunately can't see in the picture, are gorgeous little golden apples! Wear this to work but tucking it in to high-waisted wide-leg slacks and adding a cardigan. Love!!! 100% silk. Dry clean only. Comes with an extra button. On the fit: this is listed as a 12 and seems to fits like a large.
Lush Embellished Pocket Tee :: $14 (MSRP $34) :: size small
Okay, so this isn’t really a designer shirt but I fell in love with it and had to bring it home. I am a huge fan of a little extra sparkle on otherwise basic pieces and the mesh pocket on this tee is just my style. The shirt is really soft and lightweight – very comfortable to wear – and hits at the perfect (most flattering) spot on the hips. I would throw a blazer or vest on over this to complete the outfit. Brand new without tags.
Daniel Rainn Crown Blue Top :: $17 (MSRP $68) :: size medium
First of all, I am in love with the color. Second of all, the gathering embellishment is totally unlike anything I own and I LOVE that. The other thing I really like about this one is how comfortable I felt when I was wearing it; plus, it had just the right amount of volume to pair up perfectly with those black skinny jeans.
Juicy Couture 100% Silk Top :: $35 (MSRP $158) :: size 6 (fits small)
Ohhh, remember this one?! It was my first listing EVER, in a dot medley. I have it again, this time in a gorgeous cream. On the fit: this is listed as a 6 but you can see how it fits me… I am a size 2. I think this runs small and fits like a 4/small.
Smitten Draped Front Knit Tank :: $19 (MSRP $128) :: size medium
You’ll find lots of Smitten tops on Piperlime, but not for 19 bucks! This black sweater knit tank has a really cute draped front and banded waistline. You really can’t go wrong with a sleeveless black shirt – but the idea is not to have a wardrobe full of clones. This tank has great style and a unique look that will set it apart from the rest of them. 100% cotton.
On this fit: this was a little loose on me but I really didn’t mind. It’s meant to be a bit more fitted so I would say it’s true to size as a medium. If you are a small or petite, it will fit you the way it fits me above.
Romeo & Juliet Couture Bow Top :: $20 (MSRP $141) :: size medium (fits small)
I LOVE this adorable white knit top from one of my favorites, Romeo & Juliet Couture. I especially like the cut of the neckline, the pretty black bow and also how versatile this top is – in the first picture I paired it with a beige skirt and knee-high boots; in the second, just a simple cardigan and jeggings were all it took for a cute weekend look!
On the fit: this top fits like a small and is not ideal for busty girls (it’s good up to about a C cup)
Nanette Lepore 100% Silk ‘Wistful’ Top :: $30 (MSRP $228) :: size small
Who doesn't want a brand new, beautiful, pink Nanette Lepore 100% silk top?! Every detail about this blouse is perfect -- the stitching, the cut, the lines, the hidden button front. Nanette Lepore is fabulous in all regards. I love this with white jeans in the spring, but right now I would wear it with dark jeans and boots or heels. Anyone who works in an office can also seamlessly transition this piece into their line-up by dressing it up with a beige or charcoal suit. Love it.
On the fit: listed as a 2, this fits like a size 2-4/small
Diane von Furstenberg Candy Dress :: $30 (MSRP $295) :: size 10
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this slinky, poppy-colored designer DVF dress!! My goodness is this thing flattering -- I have spent an awful lot of time thinking about getting it altered and keeping it, but for now it’s staying listed. For the picture, I clipped it in the back to give you an idea of how it will look. I love it with taupe or gunmetal pumps, or for a seriously hot New Year’s look you could pair it with a cropped blazer and knee-high boots like I did above (and probably get about a million compliments). Less busty girls (like me) will probably want the dry cleaner to shorten the spaghetti straps, which is no big deal. The bottom line is that I am totally in love with this super fun couture dress and can’t wait to see it on one of my readers!!
On the fit: this fits like a medium/large. If you love it but are smaller, just get it taken in.
Free People Tube Dress :: $19 (MSRP $108) :: size large (fits like a medium)
I have an almost identical dress from Express that anyone who knows me in real life has seen me in at one formal event or another. It is my go-to cocktail dress, with the super flattering cut and rouched bust and midsection. This dress from Free People, one of my all-time faves, sports the very same flattering elements, not to mention is really comfortable and soft! You can rock this dress year round so your $19 is going to go a long way.
On the fit: fits like a medium/6/8.
