PLEASE NOTE THAT I ONLY SHIP TO THE UNITED STATES AND CANADA AT THIS TIME!  Canadian customers can request an invoice prior to purchasing an item, or purchase the item and be invoiced for the remaining shipping charge.  Almost all Canadian shipments will be $11 for shipping.

Are these items new?  Yes!  Unless otherwise noted, everything is brand new.

What size are you?  Do you only buy clothes in a certain size?  I try to model as many of the clothes that I can because I want you to see how they will look off the hanger and on an actual body; not to mention, as part of an outfit.  I really wish I had a mannequin – my gosh are those things expensive!  I try on a wide range of things, from petite to large.  It is meant to be a guide – please don’t think that, if we are not the same size, it will not fit you!  I sometimes clip the garment in the back (I make a note when I do) just so you can see what it would look like on someone it is meant to fit.  And in general, if I can belt or layer or otherwise disguise something that is too big for me, I will usually go ahead and do that.  This is why I try to comment on the fit whenever possible.  For guidance, I am 5’7” and a size 26/2.

Who are you?   I'm a Stay at Home Mom who loves to find gorgeous clothing, but then again, I don't have a lot of money to spend on it.  Ahh, the irony!  When I held a day job, I was an assistant to an Executive Movie Producer, which was quite the fashionable career, but I have hung up the Jimmy Choos (for now) to raise my son.

Are any of these items replicas or knock-offs?  I understand why people purchase replicas, but I'm not one of them.  I can spot one a mile away and so can a lot of people.  I don't own any and I won't buy or sell any.  And by the way, there is such a thing as replica receipts, tags, boxes, certificates of authenticity -- the whole nine yards -- so watch out, especially if you buy things on eBay.  It's rampant.  It's a really creepy market and I'm not into it.  And the best part is that almost everything here comes from incredibly trustworthy, reputable, high-end department stores.

How would you describe your style?  I like classy, clean lines but I also love a soft floral silk blouse or a gorgeous slouchy bag.  I am in my late twenties and I think my style reflects that.  It's not juvenile or matronly; it's fun, sweet, well put-together and sometimes even edgy.

What is your return policy?  It doesn’t fit?  Send it back!  I am now accepting returns for merchandise under $50 (which is most of what I list).  This does not apply to accessories or handbags.  The item must be unused, with tags still attached, and undamaged. In order to return an item:

  • Notify me at genevieve@crushluxe.com within 48 hours of your receipt of the item (based on USPS tracking information)
  • I’ll email you a pre-paid return shipping label if you wish, or you can make your own.
  • You can send the item back by either giving it to the mailman or bringing it to the post office
  • Your refund will be initiated for the full purchase price within 5 business days of my receipt of the item, less shipping charges.

And remember, if you absolutely love something and don’t want to return it, but it’s a big too big or long, you can always get it taken in for that perfect tailored fit (and at $10 or $15 for alterations, you still pay only a fraction of retail!)

How do you ship?  I mostly use USPS flat rate shipping and unless otherwise specified, the charge is $4 per item.  I am happy to combine shipping -- just go ahead and buy the items you want and shoot me an email at genevieve@crushluxe.com letting me know what you bought, and I will  process a refund for the difference if there is one.

Do you have an email list?  Yes!  I will send out an email for special buys before posting them on the blog.  Email me at genevieve@crushluxe.com to submit your request to be put on the email list.

Do you have this item in another size? No, unfortunately.  Unless specified, that's all I've got.  Feel free to ask though -- I may have seen it in another size!

Can I put an item on hold or reserve an item from an Luxe List email?  All items are first come, first served.  Make sure you add me to your Google Reader so you can spot the new post as soon as it comes through.  However, if you see an item from an email or Facebook update that you want to buy right then -- email me!  I might be able to send you an early pay link.

Can you keep an eye out for something for me? I sure can!  I can't promise that I will find it, but I always have a list of things to look out for.  If you want me to contact you if I see something special, I can do that.

What's the fine print?

All items for sale and/or sold from this web site are sold as-is, with all faults, no warranty, no exceptions, no guarantee.
